Main goal:

• Responsible for the expansion of the company by seeking out new business, keeping satisfaction of existing clients, and expanding scope of business with them
• Communicate the benefits of company services with customer, and design suitable solution to customer’s need

Challenges:

• Customer’s expection on logistics service have increased manifold year by year (cost, speed, solution, customer service ….)
• Customer’s expection on a logistics service provider is not only “to meet” but “to exceed”
• Balancing customer’s needs/expections and company business needs ( costs, efforts) to be mutually beneficial

Main tasks:

• BD strategy based on company business strategy
• Market research /Sale plan / marketing tools/ tender progress & result
• Customer management, cost management, contract management
• Process & KPI system build up
• Manage and develop human resource
• Manage, administer, supervise, assign work to employees belonging to Business Development Section
• Participating in the labour discipline process, claiming compensation for damage according to the authorization, sequence and procedures specified in the Company Labour Rule
• Other

• Bachelor of in Business Administration/ Economics/ Foreign trade or Marketing/ Sea Transport Economics
• 3-4 years in field of business development / Economics
• Customer Focus, Teamwork, Communication, Problem Solving and Decision-making
• Knowledge of economics, trade; Knowledge of Market; Knowledge in Logistics field, supply chain management
• Experienced in Sales Engineer – cutting equipment and machine manufacturing industry
• Strong in sales skills, presentation skills, negotiation and communication skills
• Have experience working for Japanese companies in the same industry or similar fields
