The company prioritizes technical expertise in manufacturing and quality, as well as hands-on ability to analyze and resolve quality issues, over the number of years of management experience or the size of the team managed.

Key Requirement

Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing and quality, with excellent capabilities in defect analysis and problem-solving. Practical expertise is valued more highly than years of management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality control across SMT/DIP, PCB, and product assembly processes.
• Respond promptly to quality abnormalities, implement containment measures, and assess the scope and impact of affected products.
• Analyze defect root causes and escape causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.

• Salary: VND 50,000,000 Gross/month.
• Working hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday as a working day.
• Days off: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and year-end holidays in accordance with Vietnamese law.
• Insurance: Provided in accordance with Vietnamese law.
• Company shuttle bus: Available between Hanoi city center and Quang Minh Industrial Park via Thang Long Bridge, with two routes.

• Experience in manufacturing or quality-related roles at an electronics manufacturer or EMS company.
• Substantial hands-on experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA).
• Proven experience leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention for quality defects.
• Good working proficiency in English for communication with Japanese managers.
• Experience managing and supervising a quality team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience at a Japanese electronics manufacturer or EMS company.
• Management experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• Experience implementing and conducting internal audits for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
• Experience implementing and auditing IATF 16949.
• Experience working or receiving training in Japan.
• Japanese language proficiency is an advantage.

Note: Candidates are not required to meet every criterion regarding years of experience, team size, or qualifications. Practical technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities will be given priority.

Expectations After Joining

• Upon joining: Understand existing quality issues and respond promptly and appropriately when abnormalities occur.
• After 6 months: Independently lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
• After 1 year: Independently handle and negotiate quality-related issues with Japanese customers.

Interview Assessment

Candidates will be presented with actual defect photographs and asked to explain, in a logical and specific manner:

• The root cause of the defect.
• The cause of the defect escaping detection.
• Immediate response and containment measures.
• Corrective actions and measures to prevent recurrence.
