ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer / Project Development Engineer to develop project business in Northern Vietnam, mainly in industrial facilities and large building projects.
This is not a transactional product sales role. The position is focused on project development, specification influence, and solution selling for mechanical systems such as chilled water systems, pump room piping, HVAC utilities, industrial piping, and vibration control applications.
The successful candidate will work closely with design consultants, EPC contractors, MEP contractors, facility owners, and project stakeholders to introduce company products at the design and specification stage, then follow projects through quotation, proposal, and order conversion.
This role is suitable for candidates who have experience in technical project sales related to HVAC, MEP, piping systems, valves, flexible joints, or industrial mechanical equipment.
Key Markets / Target Projects
Main focus projects include:
- Data centers
- Semiconductor / hi-tech factories
- Manufacturing and pharmaceutical plants
- Large commercial buildings
- Central utility and HVAC-related projects
- Candidates do not need experience in all segments above.
However, they should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems used in at least one or more relevant project environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Project Development
- Identify and develop potential project opportunities in Northern Vietnam
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, MEP contractors, and project owners
- Approach projects at an early stage to support specification development
- Maintain a healthy project pipeline and regularly report progress
2) Technical Sales
- Propose suitable company products based on system configuration and project requirements
- Review project specifications, piping layouts, and basic drawings
- Prepare technical proposals, product submissions, and commercial quotations
- Explain product advantages and technical comparisons versus competitors
3) Solution Selling
- Promote total solutions combining flexible joints, vibration isolation products, valves, and related piping components
- Support cross-selling of multiple company product categories within the same project
- Deliver value-based proposals instead of price-only selling
4) Project Follow-up and Internal Coordination
- Follow projects from specification stage through quotation and order closing
- Coordinate with internal technical support, management, and related departments
- Track project status, customer feedback, and next action plans

- Project Pipeline: Number and value of active projects
- Consultant Engagement: Number of active consultant relationships
- New Account Development: New consultants, EPCs, or facility owners engaged
- Project Order Value: Annual project order intake
- Cross-sell Revenue: Orders involving multiple company product categories
- Spec-in Count: Projects where company products appear in specifications or drawings
Quyền lợi được hưởng
- Gross salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills
- Bonus: 13th month + performance bonus for direct sales (per company policy)
- Insurance: Social insurance as per Vietnam Labor Law.
- Work Environment: Professional Japanese corporate environment.
- Probation Period: 2 months (85% of base salary)

Must-have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development related to:
HVAC/ MEP/ Industrial equipment/ Valves / piping systems/ Mechanical products used in building or factory utilities - Experience working with one or more of the following:
EPC contractors/ MEP contractors/ Design consultants/ Industrial facility owners - Good understanding of mechanical systems such as:
Chilled water systems
Pump room / piping systems
HVAC applications
Industrial utility piping - Able to read and discuss basic mechanical drawings such as piping layouts or P&ID
- Vietnamese: native level
- English: business working level
Preferred / Strong Advantage
- Experience in project sales for data centers, semiconductor factories, or pharmaceutical plants
- Experience in products such as:
Flexible joints/ Expansion joints/ Vibration isolators/ Valves/ Industrial piping systems - Experience influencing specifications with design consultants
- Existing network with consultants, EPCs, MEP contractors, or industrial project stakeholders in Northern Vietnam
- Background from companies in HVAC / Building Systems / Valve / Piping / MEP sectors
- Example target backgrounds may include companies such as:
